"Headteacher
Group 7 School: ISR L30 - 36 (£70,464 - £81, 474).

A Head Teacher is required from Easter/September 2007 to lead this high achieving, popular, innovative 11-18 mixed community school, which has specialist status for sport. The vacancy arises following the promotion of the current head to a prestigious consultancy position within a local authority.

Therfield has 1371 students on roll including 224 in the Sixth Form and 21 in a successful specialist centre. Described by OfSTED in its March 2004 inspection as ‘very good’ and subsequently named in HMCI’s top 45 secondary schools inspected that year.

The school boasts a proud tradition of academic success and extra curricular achievement including strong links with a Premiership football club, national award winning drama department and a multifaceted music department.
