Woodville - Welcome to our school
Mr Bryan
Clasby, Headteacher
Welcome to The Woodville School. This website has been designed
to offer you an insight into life at The Woodville School,
reflecting the breadth of activities and experiences which are
available to the children.
| The Woodville School was
established in 1913 and enjoys a long educational
tradition in the Leatherhead community. The school enjoys extensive grounds and benefits from buildings which offer considerable character and charm. Accommodation consists of eight classroom bases, a learning suite with the very latest, high specification computers and an interactive white board, two libraries, a music room and a superbly equipped hall. |

Our school
is a happy, busy and thriving school where good
communication and positive relationships between staff,
children and parents are central to the process of
enabling each child to achieve his or her full potential.
These attributes were recently praised by Ofsted. The Woodville School provides a broad and balanced curriculum with an appropriate emphasis on the skills of English and mathematics. The curriculum is enriched by a range of extra-curricular activities which include choir, drama, dance, science, ICT, netball and football. We enjoy a close relationship with the Elmbridge and Mole Valley County Music Centre, which is based on the school site and through its services children can learn to play a considerable number of musical instruments. |
| Through the introduction
of a breakfast club and an after-school club we are also
able to offer busy, working parents supervised, on site
provision from 8.00am until 6.00pm for your children.
This initiative is run in conjunction with the Mole
Valley District Council and there are charges for this
extended provision. Finally, if you would like to find out more about The Woodville School please do not hesitate to contact me to make an appointment to visit the school. I would be delighted to show you round and to answer any queries that you may have. |
