• ARCHIVE of the school newsletters, magazines and journals - to remind past students and staff of the events of their time at the school and to inspire those presently at Therfield to build on past achievements: source material for any school history projects and an
• ON-GOING HISTORY of the school and its forerunners - using material from school archives, from alumni and former staff .. memorabilia, photos, anecdotes, newspaper cuttings etc. - a 'living' account building on the 1986 book on Leatherhead Schools Of Good Report by Linda Heath (Leatherhead & District Local History Society)

It aims to encourage for the benefit of all:

• the PRESERVATION of Therfield/Secondary School archive material and
• COMMUNICATION between the school and alumni including former staff to foster and publicise alumni activities, such as reunions, and those which enable alumni to assist the continuing and developing excellence of 'their' school
